IPS Scholarships

As an independent platform, the Institute for Postnatural Studies can only offer two scholarships. Please be mindful when requesting this aid as we offer them to address the specific systemic and economic barriers that attendees may face directly or indirectly based on their ethnic or national identities, or political and economical obstacles presented by their country of origin or residency. This includes people who identify as Black, brown, people of colour, Global Majority, mixed-race, multiple heritage and/or are from the Global South, Latinx, and diasporas. We ask that you evaluate your level of need before requesting this support, as we will not be asking for any kind of proof your financial situation. We will not share any information you provide here publicly, this is strictly for our teams and anything submitted will remain confidential. You can communicate this through our application form.

Goethe-Institut Scholarship

We are pleased to offer a full scholarship for the Postnatural Independent Program 2025 in partnership with the Goethe-Institut Madrid. This grant covers full tuition for one selected participant and accommodation in both encounters in Madrid (March and June). The recipient, who must be a resident of Germany*, will have the opportunity to stay at the Goethe-Institut residency in Madrid and to have the support and assistance of both Institute’s teams during their stay.

Awarded Qualification

End-of-course projects will be presented publicly at a renowned institution in Madrid. IPS Faculty and tutors will give written feedback on the working process and all participants will receive a certificate signed by the Institute for Postnatural Studies and all invited tutors and guests. As an independent program, no official qualifications or diplomas are awarded.
